My painting, “Dredging the Burning River” was accepted into the North American Open Watercolor Exhibition hosted by the New England Watercolor Society at the Plymouth Center for the Arts, 11 North Street, Plymouth, Massachusetts. The show opened on October 30 and will end on November 30, 2024. I would like to thank Lorraine Watry, current President of the National Watercolor Society who served as the Juror of Selection and Awards for selecting my painting to receive the Utrecht Award.
The Connecticut River valley Hub is currently showing members work during the month of November at the Crowell Art Gallery in Newfane, Vermont. Two of my paintings, “Tucker Toll Bridge” and “Three Bridges” are part of the show.
Two paintings, Woodstock, and Whetstone Roaring were accepted into the 13th Annual Green Mountain Watercolor Exposition at the Red Barn, Larrieu Farm in Waitsfield, VT. The show closed on July 20th. “Woodstock” was sold during the show. It’s always exciting and rewarding when someone likes your work and purchases it.

I’ll be displaying about twenty paintings at the Vermont Welcome Center on I-91 northbound in Guilford, Vermont during the month of December. If you’re on your way north to visit or ski stop in and check out the beautiful welcome center and take a look at my work. The center cannot sell any work directly but if you see something that you like contact me and we can find a way to get it to you.
Vermont Artisans Designs is continuing to promote my work. I have many paintings on display and for sale as well as notecards and limited edition Giclee prints. I’ve set up my paints in their front window again this year and spent the evening demonstrating painting and answering questions from many of the interested shop patrons and folks passing on the street who stop in to simply observe. These were very fun experiences and look forward to doing this again in the future.
